USING LUSH DREAM CREAM FOR ECZEMA - MY EXPERIENCE.

Dream cream from LUSH is commonly used for treating sensitive skin prone to eczema, so I thought I'd test it out myself considering I have suffered with the skin condition on and off my whole life.

I've been meaning to try this cream for years as my older sister, Amber swears by it (and even uses it on her 4 month year old little girl). A few months ago, I finally got round to getting myself a tub of this so-called magical cream and here are my thoughts...

The gentle scent of oats and rose water is comforting and definitely encourages me to moisturise my body, even when I'm having a lazy day. The texture is rich and luxurious and quickly absorbs into the skin once it has been applied. It really is a dream to use which is probably why I used over half of the tub in just over 1 month. As I mentioned above, I've always been prone to eczema and usually have dry skin and sometimes sore patched on my body. I moisturise as often as I can which tends to keep it under control, but I definitely do still struggle with it. The dream cream soothed my irritated skin when first applied, but unfortunately in the long run, I haven't noticed any difference or improvement in my skin. I actually went through a rough patch (quite literally) after using the cream for around 1 month which may or may not have been a coincidence.

I still keep the cream on my bathroom shelf and use it occasionally on my hands, arms and legs but unfortunately this cream didn't work miracles, for me anyway.

If you also suffer with dry skin on your body or eczema, what products do you rely on?
