I have never, I repeat NEVER been a skirt kind of girl. Perhaps the odd mini skirt on a night out with some fishnets and chunky boots but I never thought I'd see the day that I willingly purchased a long, pleated skirt.

As you will all know by now if you follow my Instagram or YouTube channel that I am honestly the worlds biggest leopard print fan (no joke), so finding this style of skirt in a leopard print pattern probably helped this new love flourish.

I never realised a skirt like this could be so versatile. As we're all aware, English weather is very unpredictable and I assumed a summery skirt would be a risky purchase but I've managed to style it in so many different ways in all kinds of weather already and I am loving it. The images above show my favourite way to wear it; a baggy jumper and some chunky black boots. I really feel like myself in this outfit and I absolutely love the effortless look it creates. I've also paired this skirt with a black crop top and some white trainers on warmer days which I also felt super comfortable in.

I found this beautiful skirt in the Petite section in Topshop which was ideal for me (I'm a short ass), but it's also available in standard length too. I wouldn't recommend wearing a pleated skirt like this when there is even a slight chance of wind because I am telling you...EVERYONE will see your underwear. Fact. (I learnt the hard way).
